The idea behind offering you a free brand strategy consultation is to really provide you with a bit of a map for your organisation when it comes to your brand. Whether you go forward with the process with me, or not – you should come away with a clearer picture and an idea of direction, and the potential value it can bring. During the call we establish:

- Where you would like it to be – goal setting
- Challenges and aspirations for the project
- The value of goals identified
- What I do and the brand strategy process

Where you are
The first half an hour or so is focussed on you and your business and takes more of a coaching approach where I help you unlock insights into your own organisation. We go in deep with this, whether it’s your personal hopes and fears for your organisation, it’s culture, or your expectations of what a brand project might look like. We get an idea of where you currently are. By identifying the starting point we can identify what is working and what isn’t, and what you know and where there might be gaps. Have a think about the following:
- How does your organisation define success?
- Who are your customers?
- What challenges are you facing?
- What does the competitive landscape look like?
Where you’d like to be
Once we feel like we’ve got a good idea of where you are, we start imaging the future possibilities. Feasibility can come later – this is all about big ideas that excite you. This is about discovering all the potential within your organisation and how we can lever that to help you achieve success.
- What are your goals?
- What is the one thing we must get right?
- From your goals what is the priority?
- What would exceed your wildest dreams?
What to bring to your call
It’s useful to send over any previous work or research you have done towards your brand strategy before the free consultation so that I can get an idea of where things stand and do some research prior to our call on your industry. For the call itself – some illustrative financials are helpful (they don’t have to be exact but they do have to be based in reality) such as turnover and profit margins, and how marketing campaigns are currently converting. Anything that gives a picture of your business and how things are going for you.
